Hallo! 'Tis I the mythical Baku of DA here with a teensy little update and new photos~

The update: Nothing huge, but apparently dark depression and having a PayPal while sipping cold coffee on AmiAmi aren't a good mix. So, expect new Rin/Len nendoroids! I've also started to watermark my photos, so watch out for the little white text on the bottom of a photo.

Hey all, I kinda forgot that deviantArt had a birthday eheh. And also for said birthday, we should be appreciative of the site and share our stories about how we came across it and blah blah blah.

That being said,
I'd like to take a minute, now sit down, you
I'd like to tell you how I became one and only Baku. (You know you sang that in the Fresh Prince of Bel Air's tune. I know you did, liar. 0.0)

I have actually known of deviantArt for YEARS. I used to look up pictures under certain tags (like Yugioh, or Yami-Yugi because I'm a fangirl) but I used to just creep around the internet without making accounts anywhere, so I just looked at comments and browsed.

It wasn't until one day (couple years down the road, after I got outta my Yugioh phase and into my Vocaloid obsession) I found the wonderful realm and friendly atmosphere of Nendoroid Photography! One of the first photos I found and fell in love with was this one:

Which gave me the brilliant idea of uploading some photos of my own figures on August 24th, 2012 (As shitty as the first ones were .J.'') (Wow. I've almost been here for two years. much weird. very wow.)

But even though my photos of what I found out were bootlegs were pretty shitty, I got some awesome followers, and even cooler friends out of the deal! (Plus, I learned where to buy legit Nendoroids, which costed half the price of boot legs!)

These said friends who introduced me to animes I wouldn't have found out about without their Nendoroid photos, and I wouldn't have been able to find Vocaloid songs and models without others. While all of them are fun people to chat with, and have unknowingly helped me through very dark times by just being kind. (sappy sap sap. I know >,>'')


With the fuel and inspiration offered from my friends, I created better art works like these:

And I very much plan on continuing to improve my photography skill, even if I drive all of you crazy, hehe.

Hello all! Just a quick update to inform you all, I haven't died yet! Woohoo, party!

And to update that I've taken pictures of my little Daughter/Servant of Evil, and it would please me to no end to see you check the photos out or leave a comment etc.

I'll also be challenging myself to do better with photos (I've noticed that the close up quality of certain photos is shit at best, so bear with me and my phone camera a while longer) and I'm also taking requests! If you want to see my Nendos together (Append Len/L for example) in certain situations, I'd be happy to try to set that up!

I won't even charge to eat your dreams for a requested photo, aren't I nice~?

By the end of November, we hope to add Ryuuko Matoi, Saiyaka Miki and Kyouko Sakura casual versions to our small gaggle of Nendos! Me and my personalities cannot wait!

I know, usually I'm not so relaxed/not bitching about my life, but right now all is calm/I have no responsibilities except to myself. And work keeps me sane and not dwell on personal angst, so I'm snapping away with my camera, and typing away at a surprise I wish to spring when deviantArt is least expecting it...mwuhahahaha~AH!

Oh yes, kids, don't drink five cups of strong coffee back to back, it makes you shake and laugh at everything. Oh and it also makes you thirsty...just a public announcement served by your neighborhood Baku.

Now that I have your undivided attention I shall alert you that the title is, in fact, a lie. There shall not be any such deliciousness in this post, but was nice enough to tag (...include that is ) me in a tagging post, and I'm late enough on filling it out!

1. I am a nurse aide, who loves gore-ish stuff; I mean, I can calmly perform an autopsy on a pig and stuff, but I hate zombies...yes, that was a rollercoaster of a sentence.

2. I love and live for memes. I read them with morning coffee like a sir, and can usually be found running around quoting things like "One does not simply..." OR "Ain't nobody got time for dat!"...old but gold ;D

3. I LOVE CHRIS PINE. Shit, I didn't think that would come out so soon...I mean, I couldn've waited 'til like the 8th thing or something...

4. I adore horses of all kinds! (except for bitchy kinds...the only bitch horse I'll deal with is my own horse) MLPonies are not excluded from that, but I haven't watched much of the show...>,>

5. I consider myself to be a Trekkie whose hero is James T. Kirk! Sadly, I've only watched Star Trek the Original series, but I read the comics and well, I annoyed the shit out of one of my roommates taking screen shots of the 09 movie...

6. My favorite anime on the whole planet is Black Rock Shooter! And my woman crush is hands down Black Rock Shooter herself. (waiifuuuuuuu staaaatuss~~~~)

7. I enjoy writing (silly blogs like these) and even creative stories (meh, dey okei) but I loath English classes. There's something wrong with a kid who failed phonics in kindergarten.

8. I cuss...a hell of a lot. I try not to let it bleed into my dA, but shit happens XD

9. In reaction to the above: I don't like offending people. NO. I'm NOT Canadian...sorry that sounded mean...

10. When describing situations, I usually liken myself as a potato...although lately I have the feeling that 'potato' is a perverted code for something smutty, so if you're in the smut loop and know what truth lies behind the potato...well, maybe the cake wouldn't be a lie then, would it?

A: I prefer a traditional art style, like an authentic Japanese painting or especially art composed of anime characters with a pen. However, digital is second, if done correctly

2. Who is your favorite singer?
A: HANDS THE FUCK DOWN LEN KAGAMINE. Now if we're talking in human/English speaking terms, I do like Ellie Goulding

3. Which is your favorite video game?
A: you're.killing.me.slowly. It is a race 'til the death between Pokemon Black, (Black 2 too...) any retro Mario game, Assassin's creed Brotherhood, or Assassin's creed 3...possibly Assassin's Creed Black Flag when I get my paws on it. =>=

4. What is your first language?
A: Asshole. Oh wait, sarcasm...ah, I mean English
5. What is your favorite movie?
A: YOU MEAN I MUST CHOOSE!?!?!?!!?! Well, right now it would be Star Trek 09, but Star Trek Into Darkness is a good watch, along with Sherlock Holmes (Game of Shadows, too) and anything with Chris Pine~~~~~~~*breathing intensifies*

6. What is your favorite class at school (like math, history, art, ect.) ?
A: Science, hands down! Anatomy especially--microbiology passionately! As a child I would find dead bugs and look at them under a microscope...ah, those were good days~

A: /shot I'm dead. Too many choices, bro.

A: One does not simply grow too old for Mr. Snuggles, my dear ;3
In all actuality, I have a collection of fluffies that keep me happy. My favorites would be a stuffed fox, and an Umbreon plushie, whomI endearingly named Syncro, after my first Umbreon in SoulSilver that reached lvl 100 :'D

9. What is your favorite book?
A: Read...oh yea, reading. Uhhmmmm, I don't read too often, but when I do, it's a HUGE book with all of the Sherlock Holmes original short stories and novels I bought my sister for her birthday. Oh! I can recomend the Phantom Stallion series too.

10. Do you want to build a snowman ?

I'm updating this to let my followers know that I haven't died or anything but here's the scoop:

My laptop broke, it's super old and the computer tech I use hasn't gotten the time to work with mine right now. That laptop is where I usually check dA and edit/upload my pictures, so a small part of my soul has been ripped from me. Aaand I have my Skype on that thing, and it's the only computer I use with a webcam...o.o'

I'm on my home computer now...avoiding my family because since this is a holiday, I *have* to spend time with them (well, my close family isn't so bad, I just avoid my nephew at all costs. Hehe.)

Also, I haven't been doing much here due to school; I know many of you are groaning inwardly because you feel my pain!
